DESCRIPTION:This show is NOT TO BE MISSED! \nJoin us from 5:00-8:00 to celebrate Emily Gaimari’s gorgeous paintings during the Greenfield Gallery Walk on April’s FINAL FRIDAY! \nSince covid I know most of our lives were inside\, inside\, but during covid for myself I had moved from Massachusetts to Vermont. I think mindlessly passing by new visuals of barns\, from the linework of the wood paneling to the quilted fields that go on and on have inspired my paintings immensely. The angles and the lines have challenged my technique in a new way. I am also inspired by the pottery that surrounds me\, created by my fiance. I needed to add some other aspects to my work and wanted to combine my barns with what I see inside\, day to day. With bold color and shape I have embraced what I see daily in a playful\, child-like way. \nPracticing my patience with fine line details\, and make believe shadows add a story I want viewers to come up with. My work doesn’t always make sense\, and I think that’s where it becomes playful for myself. Twisting reality in a sense.\n  \n
