SUMMARY:Gel Print Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn to gel plate transfer magazine images\, book print and laser print photos for textured\, ethereal\, and one of kind prints. We’ll slow the gel plate process down by selecting images for the best possible transfer\, building layers on the plate and timing the magical reveal of each unique print.   We’ll troubleshoot some of the common challenges and you’ll leave with a handful of monotype prints and the knowledge needed to explore the art of gel plate image transfer at home. \nYou’ll learn how to: \n\nuse and care for a Gel plate.  \npick the best images to transfer\npull the prints\ntroubleshoot challenges – not every transfer is successful but we’ll work through the common problems.\n\n$35 includes the use of all materials.  I’ll provide magazines to work from but feel free to bring your own.  For the best results I recommend high end fashion\, home or travel magazines ie. Vogue\, Elle\, Dwell\, Condé Nast Traveler etc. \nClass size limit 6
