DESCRIPTION:Simple Darning  \nIntroduction to darning\, a type of diy mending that reduces waste\, supports function\, makes items cool\, and supports the nostalgia of old clothes to live on. \nEach participant is encouraged to bring a knitted item with at least one hole or threadbare area. It can be hand knitted\, machine knitted\, and maybe even a loose weave. \nFor beginners\, it’s easiest to start with a small hole or a threadbare area. \nTogether we will fill holes and strengthen garments/socks/sweaters/blankets with beautiful art.  \nA selection of yarn will be provided\, and participants are welcome to bring their own. \nDarning needles and materials provided. \nMarch 8th\, 1-3pm $15 \nNo one will be turned away for lack of funds\, email LookyHereGreenfield@gmail.com for more info
