DESCRIPTION:📚 Make a Book on the Risograph  \nIn this 5-week workshop\, we’ll help you get your work edited\, formatted\, and Risograph printed into a 20-copy edition of your very own book — with up to 20 pages! \nWhether you’re working in poetry\, prose\, comics\, or collage\, you’ll learn how to take your project from draft to finished object using Risograph printing and simple bookbinding techniques. \n🗓️ Schedule \n📘 Week 1: Nov 5 – Kickoff + Manuscript Review\nGet to know the group\, share your draft\, and start thinking about format\, layout\, and book structure. \n✍️ Week 2: Nov 12 – Editing & Revisions\nRefine your text\, get feedback\, and sketch ideas for your cover and layout. \n🖋️ Week 3: Nov 19 – Print Prep\nLearn how to prepare files for Risograph printing — including layout\, pagination\, and color separation. \n🚫 Nov 26 – No Class\nUse this week to finalize your manuscript\, finish your cover design\, and polish your layout. \n🖨️ Week 4: Dec 3 – Printing Begins\nPrint all your covers and interior pages on the Risograph printer. \n📦 Week 5: Dec 10 – Assembly\nCollate\, fold\, bind\, and assemble your edition of 20 books. \n🎉 Week 6: Dec 17 – Book Release Party @ 7:00 PM\nCelebrate your work!
