DESCRIPTION:5 week class starts 4/8! \nPile of Poems to Manuscript is a class for anyone who has been writing poems but is struggling to turn them into a manuscript. Over the course of six weeks\, we’ll look at various organizing principles and techniques that authors have used in their books and apply them to our own work. We will engage in a series of exercises involving arranging\, adding\, and removing poems\, and editing work not only with an eye towards a single piece but its role within a larger whole. We will also talk about why we create and publish books and work on tailoring our plans for publication and circulation to the scale and audience we want.
