DESCRIPTION:The Strange Page – Flash Fiction Workshop \n\n\nThe Strange Page is not a typical workshop.  It is more of an experimental forum. The workshop operates under the belief that completing weekly prompts greatly aids the writing process\, that listening to other writers’ work expands one’s mind\, that reading and hearing your own work aloud shows you your work in a new way\, and that listening to others discuss your work creates a distance useful for having realizations about your piece.  Open to adults and mature teens of all levels of writing experience. Limited to 12 students.\n\nAbout the teacher: Vanessa Brewster is a writer\, musician and teacher living in Western Massachusetts. She has her Masters in Spanish Literature from Middlebury College and she is currently working on her first novel.\n\n8 Thursdays: July 7th to August 25th\n\n\n6-8 PM\n\nREMOTE (via Zoom)
