Simple Darning
Introduction to darning, a type of diy mending that reduces waste, supports function, makes items cool, and supports the nostalgia of old clothes to live on.
Each participant is encouraged to bring a knitted item with at least one hole or threadbare area. It can be hand knitted, machine knitted, and maybe even a loose weave.
For beginners, it’s easiest to start with a small hole or a threadbare area.
Together we will fill holes and strengthen garments/socks/sweaters/blankets with beautiful art.
A selection of yarn will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring their own.
Darning needles and materials provided.
March 8th, 1-3pm $15
