Unproductive Behaviors 3: bodies bodies bodies (Masks required)
Unproductive behaviors is a writing circle for queer-identified people. We use the 100s method to generate work in a shared document. The 100s creates a highly fertile place of non-productivity. The aim of our work is not to produce anything finished or final. Instead, the aim of our work is to be together in the process of generating fragments that could go anywhere or nowhere. The only requirements are to write a minimum of 100 words each week, and to read and engage with the other participants writing generously. This session is themed around bodies of humans & beyond. What changes when we start to see that plants, rocks, animals, and gullies all have bodies too? What weirdness happens when our bodies intersect with others? We will read short excerpts of embodied poetry & prose from a variety of authors. $120.00 per person for 6 weeks.
