Watercolor Painting for Adults

Learn traditional methods of handling transparent watercolor in representational painting. Students will learn how to control watercolor through washes and glazes, creating soft edges, and using wet-in-wet techniques. They will also learn how to quickly identify a strong value design in a scene: key to success in watercolor.

Materials: Participants may choose to bring their own supplies or rent supplies for use during the class; Supply rental is: $5 per day or $25 for the full session. They can pay at the first class. Students choosing to bring their own supplies can find a supply list here.
